McCalla Elementary School

The Jefferson County Board of Education selected Charles Williams & Associates, Inc. to provide A/E services for a new Elementary School located in the McCalla community.

This new school would be combine students from two existing schools and eliminate the use of portable classroom facilities. The design of the school looks to incorporate a southern vernacular with the use of brick, stone and metal seam roofs. The school will be sized to handle an increase of student population of up to 1200 students.
